BREAKING NEWS! In an unprecedented move to lead efforts in boosting the film and television industry in the region, Film Miami and The Bahamas Film Office join forces to attract global Hollywood!

Bahamas MOU

The Commonwealth of The Bahamas will now offer stackable incentives to Miami-Dade’s film incentive. The joint venture will further the mission of making Miami-Dade a global destination for the film and television industry. Film Miami fosters an economic and cultural enterprise by advocating for policies and incentivizing productions to attract more film projects. As a full-service film commission and the largest market in Florida, the film office works with all 34 municipalities in Miami-Dade, cultivating, facilitating, and enhancing an environment that allows the film and television industry to play a meaningful role in the economy. Earlier this year Film Miami launched the successful High Impact Film Fund Program championed by Senator Rene Garcia making history as the only incentive of its kind in the nation under County government. The program has already attracted several large-scale projects.
