Filming Regulations for the City of Miami Beach

Basic Permit Application Requirements:

Locations for film production are reserved on a first come, first serve basis and early notice is strongly urged for those applicants wishing to secure specific locations

Film permit requests are strongly suggested to be received at this office a minimum of 4 business days prior to the start of shooting and no less than 48 hours prior to start of production

Photography permit requests must be received no later than noon the day prior to the shoot
City Wide Permits give you the flexibility to shoot anywhere on public property within the City (beaches, parks, etc.):

Permits issued for a specific location have priority over and City-Wide permits

City-Wide permits do not include Golf Courses, private property or facilities

Larger productions may be required to indicate specific locations
