Filmiami is a cooperation between the two Greater Miami Film Offices: Miami-Dade County, and the City of Miami Beach and several County municipalities to offer a one-stop permitting system. The one-stop permit process allows our production clients the ease of applying for permits for several jurisdictions all in one place. Each jurisdiction requires a separate certificate of insurance. Also, each jurisdiction approves and signs their own permits.
The two film offices: Miami-Dade Office of Film and Entertainment and the Miami Beach Office of Film & Event Production Management are full service film commissions providing location and logistics assistance, government liaison, production information and referral sources
Please feel free to contact us with any questions and we look forward to working with you and making your production a success.

“Effective October 1, 2012, the City of Miami established the Office of Film and Special Events which has instituted a new website ( http://www.Miamifilmoffice.com ) that includes the film permit application to facilitate and streamline the permitting process. Should you wish to film exclusively within the City of Miami you are not required to apply or pay for a film permit with Miami-Dade County or with any other municipality. The City of Miami’s Office of Film and Special Events will process the film permit application free of charge through our new website.
For additional information please contact the Miami Film Coordinator Mr. Vicente Betancourt at (305)416-1318 or by email at email@example.com.”
