Dear Film Permit Applicant:

For the safety and welfare of our residents, the City of Aventura imposes the following conditions with regards to filming on public property. Failure to comply with these conditions can result in the denial/revocation of your film permit and/or the assessment of a fine.

A permit fee in the amount of $100, (checks made payable to "City of Aventura") must accompany the completed film permit application.

A Certificate of Liability Insurance in the minimum amount of $1,000,000, with the City of Aventura listed as additional insured, must accompany the film permit application.

A parking plan for automobiles, trucks and other vehicles connected with the filming, must accompany the film permit application.

A site plan describing the set-up of the filming locations must accompany the film permit application,

Forty-eight hours prior to commencement of filming, a "Notice to Owners" must be sent by the filming entity to all property owners within a 300-foot radius of the filming location, describing the location, date, hours and nature of the filming.

Upon review of the film permit application, the City Manager may, at his discretion, require that the applicant post a cash bond of up to $5,000 to be held by the City and to be used, if necessary, to repair damage to public property caused by the filming.

In accordance with the City of Aventura Noise Ordinance, no filming shall occur between the hours of 11 p.m. and 7 a.m.

Other conditions may be specified by the City Manager, dependent upon location and type of filming, to ensure the health, safety and welfare of the residents of the City (i.e. off duty police, fire rescue, etc.).
